What happens if my referee doesn't respond?

If your referee hasn't verified your commitment by the deadline, we'll send them reminders. If they remain unresponsive for 7 days after the deadline, you can request manual review by contacting support.

Can I get a refund on the platform fee?

The $5.00 platform fee is non-refundable once your commitment is locked. This fee covers the cost of processing, notifications, and maintaining the platform. Consider it your commitment to commit.

What if I disagree with my referee's decision?

Your referee's decision is final. This is by design. You chose your referee because you trust them. If you have concerns about fraud or abuse, contact us with details.

Can I change my goal or deadline after locking in?

No. Once you lock in a commitment, it cannot be modified. This is the point. Accountability means no moving goalposts. Think carefully before you commit.

How do charitable donations work?

When you fail a commitment, your stake is donated to your chosen charity. We partner with verified nonprofits to ensure your money makes an impact. You'll receive a confirmation when the donation is processed.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and process payments through Dodo Payments, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never store your full card details on our servers.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by emailing us. Note that active commitments must be completed first. We'll retain minimal records as required by financial regulations.

Can I use Word outside the United States?

Currently, Word is available to users in the United States only. We're working on expanding to other countries. Stay tuned.
